Aurora likes to write plays from surprising perspectives.
i.e.: the hairs in between Frida Kahlo's eyebrows, Jane Goodall's chimpanzees, and three seventy-year old women taking their first surf class together.
She also loves to write about water and women.
Her work has been developed at Victory Gardens, Chicago Children's Theatre, sideshow theatre, Rivendell Theatre, Greenhouse Theatre, and Northwestern University where she studied theatre and playwriting.
Her play Aping Jane was a finalist for the UCROSS + BLANK THEATRE Future of Playwriting Prize in 2021.
She is currently working on a commission for South Coast Rep.
